The Hyundai Tucson has been around since 2005, and while it’s been a top seller for Hyundai, the design of the first three generations weren’t really all that memorable. But that has all changed! The new fourth generation Tucson is larger, more upscale, and most noticeably, has a much more daring design. And for the first time ever, the Tucson is available as a hybrid, promising to return up to 38 miles per gallon.
The Tucson used to be the smallest in the segment, and now it’s among the largest, having grown by about 6” in length, at least for the North American market. That extra size means if you were in the market for a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V hybrid, you might just want to cross shop this funky and angular thing. It’s got bold new styling, but is it any good?
