What do you drive if you are a “young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law”? The Knight Industries Two Thousand, that’s what. While David Hasselhoff got top billing, K.I.T.T. was arguably the biggest star of the 1980s TV show Knight Rider, and certainly one of the most widely recognized TV cars made.
Fans of the show have been making K.I.T.T. replicas out of Pontiac Trans Ams for years, and recently I rented this nice looking replica via Turo. Come join me as I pilot K.I.T.T. down on some back roads, and search for Knight Rider filming locations in the Los Angeles area!
Big thanks to Turo for picking up the tab for this rental. I was already a huge fan of their service, having rented an Audi, Jeep, and Alfa through them in the past. If you’d like to give them a try, use my referral link and get $25 off your first rental: https://helloroad.wpengine.com/turo
